What does Axo cost me? +
Nothing upfront. $0 monthly fee, $0 setup fees. When you earn, Axo takes a 20% fee, so we only make money when you do.
Do I have to answer every question? +
No. Every question waits for you. Answer the ones worth your time and ignore the rest; unanswered questions are automatically refunded after 5 days.
How do I get paid? +
Every payment runs through Stripe. Your earnings land in your balance and become available to cash out after a 14-day holding period.
Can I ask the buyer for more context? +
Yes. You can message the buyer as many times as you need to clarify before giving your final answer. The buyer also gets one free clarification of their own after you reply.
Can one question turn into more? +
Yes. If the buyer wants to keep going, they can send a paid continuation, another paid message at your price. You choose whether to accept, and every continuation pays you again.
What happens after I pay? +
The creator is notified immediately. Once they reply, you receive an email and can continue the conversation through your private conversation page.
What does my purchase include? +
Every purchase includes one paid question, one private answer, and one free clarification you can use to ask a follow-up after the creator replies.
What if my question is too vague? +
Creators choose which questions they answer. The more specific your question, the more likely you are to receive a helpful response.
What happens if the creator doesn't answer? +
If the creator doesn't reply within 5 days, your payment is automatically refunded.
Can I get a refund if I don't like the advice? +
No. Creators are paid for their time and knowledge. Refunds are available when a creator doesn't fulfill the purchase, not because you disagree with or dislike the advice.
Do I need an Axo account? +
No. You can ask a paid question with just your email. You'll receive a receipt and a private conversation link when the creator replies. You can create a free account later to keep all your conversations in one place.
